The Latino Citizens Police Academy is offered once a year, but with the increased interest in this program, it may be offered twice per year in the future. This program is offered in Spanish to the Spanish speaking community. We all know that this is one of the largest growing populations in our community. This program fosters an understanding of the police process and we try to understand this population's customs, ideas and beliefs so we can provide better service.
