                                LMPD Choir in Light Up Louisville Parade

(November 24, 2003) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department's "Metro Notes in Harmony" choir will be caroling in the parade leading up to "Light Up Louisville".

"Metro Notes in Harmony" will sing a selection of holiday tunes and be joined by a special guest named Ventura.  Ventura is the seeing-eye dog of choir member Kristi Sykes, who is a visually impaired Transcriber for the Department's Criminal Investigation Section.  The choir is made up of both civilians and sworn police officers.

Members of "Metro Notes in Harmony" will be gathering in the parade staging area - the Jewish Hospital Parking Lot at Liberty and Brook Street at 3:45 pm.  The parade gets underway at 4:45 pm and proceeds to Metro Hall.
