Producer/Research Intern

• Assists with research for various productions
• Researches guest bios for “Leadership Landscape”
• Coordinates guests & schedules for “Leadership Landscape” tapings. Assists in the process of booking guests for the program.
• Researches topics for special documentary programs. Assists with script development.
• Develops program treatments for program development.
• Assists in setting up interviews with guests for various programs/segments.
• Assists in daily operation of station.

Promotions Intern

• Produces regular MetroTV E-Program Guide emails to promote programming
• Develops scripts for MetroTV station and channel promotions/campaigns
• Produces, directs and edits MetroTV on-air channel promotions/campaigns
• Develops media kits/press releases for MetroTV programming
• Assists in daily operation of station.

Reporter Intern

• Produce, direct, edit, shoot stories for “Metro Update” covering metro government press conferences, events and the community.
• Produces reports for “Your District” on council activity.
• Provide voice-over talent for various productions
• Write story scripts and identify sound bites for “Metro Update” stories.
• Assists in daily operation of station.

Videographer/Editor Intern

• Serves as videographer and crew for events, press conferences, and general production shoots.
• Crew live meeting coverage. Operates graphics system, audio, robotic cameras, and serves as technical director.
• Post-produces various programs and prepares them to air on MetroTV.

Engineering/Master Control Intern

• Assists engineer in maintenance of equipment and facility.
• Provides engineering support for live meeting coverage and remote productions
• Develops system diagrams and drawings
• Organizes cables and labels equipment/cables within production system
• Assists in scheduling of master control playback for channel.
• Monitors and updates information crawl on the channel.
• Assists with the ingest of programming into playback server.
• Assists in archiving programs and maintenance of tape library/broll archive.
• Assists in daily station operation.
