Facilities Management, a division of Public Works and Assets, is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of Metro Government facilities. This work includes the service and repair of HVAC, roofs, graffiti removal, landscaping, electric and plumbing, and other major building systems. Its programs include mail and courier service, security functions, special event set-up and take down, and energy conservation initiatives.
Our Customer Service Department handles more than 750 service requests each month.
Mission of Facilities Management
To Maintain Metro Facilities Through:
- Servicing and Repairing the Physical Plant Associated with Those Facilities;
- Ensuring a Comfortable and Safe Work Environment for Metro Employees;
- Providing Aesthetically Pleasing Landscaping and Exterior Maintenance for Metro Facilities and Other Metro Spaces.
