District 13 Updates:

District 21 Updates:

• From Councilman Johnson.  Last week I told you that I had designated $25,000 from our neighborhood funds to pay Solid Waste workers overtime. That was for multiple crews with full equipment to work last weekend in District 21 to clear piles of debris.

  While those overtime crews removed many large piles of debris, much remains still to be picked up. Because of that I arranged earlier this week to fund additional overtime crews that are working on weekdays to continue removing large piles of debris. Hopefully the next few days will make a big difference in the debris lining our streets.

• Come to the Beechmont Community Center Monday night for the District 21 Town Hall Meeting. I invite you to attend, participate and take advantage of an opportunity to discuss your concerns with representatives from Metro Public Works, Louisville Metro Police and Metro Louisville’s Animal Control.  October 27th at 7PM at Beechmont Community Center, 2nd Street and Wellington.
