Newburg Neighborhood Exterior and Emergency Repair Program.They began accepting applications for “facelift” grants and assistance on July 11. They will be continuing to do so Mon – Wed, from 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Cop Shop at 4809 Unseld Blvd. Interested parties can contact either Nilaja Meeks at 574-2787 or Barrett Tasman at 574-2690.

Discover Blackacre's Trail of Terror! Louisville's newest and scariest haunt will keep you awake at night! Courageous characters will encounter the terrifying on the haunted trail, as they explore the shadows of Blackacre's densely wooded forest. On Blackacre's ¾ mile Terror Trail, you'll meet Michael Myers, Jason, and Blackacre's butcher- see why the Big Bad Wolf gives kids nightmares, and step into Frankenstein's laboratory. Can you make it through the Toxic Dump and Area 51- eventually they'll lead you to the Cemetery, where you'll dodge zombies - unless, that is, you're frozen with fear. This professionally-designed trail has 20 different scenes and is sure to impress!
Terror Trail: Teens & Adults Opens at 8pm. $12.50 per tour. Ticket sales end at 11:30 pm
Barnyard Spooktacular: Children & Families Opens at 6 pm. $5 per person
When: Every Friday and Saturday night in October, 2008, except Halloween evening

MSD Notice: Regarding the Drainage Improve,ent Project for Residents of Santom Lane Area. In the near future, the Metropolitan Sewer District will begin construction of the Santom Lane Drainage Improvement Project. This project will include drainage improvements along rear yards between Santom Lane and running Fox Circle, and improvements along the roadside of Santom Lane and Bilsim Lane. MSD expects construction of this project to occur between September and November 2008 weather permitting.
As with any construction activity, you may experience minor inconveniences during the construction phase of this project. MSD will do its best to minimize any inconveniences during the construction of this project, and will have a construction inspector assigned to this project.
