Winter has finally blown in to the metro area bringing chilly temperatures, shorter days and holidays. There are many activities going on in our great city so don't hibernate get out and enjoy!
Please feel free to forward these miscellaneous neighborhood announcements to all interested parties in your address book and to distribute at your next neighborhood meeting.

Mayor’s Community Conversation These monthly meetings are a place for citizens to build strong relationships with Mayor Jerry Abramson, Louisville Metro department directors and Council members. The Mayor’s Community Conversations (MCC) are normally held at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month except December. This month’s MCC is on the 4th Monday due to the Martin Luther King Holiday. The 2009 dates for MCC are tentative and are subject to change, please contact MetroCall to confirm date and time. Free. |

Neighborhood LINK Neighborhood Link is a national program that provides free websites for not-for-profit associations. The Louisville Metro Department of Neighborhoods offers training assistance to neighborhoods so they can establish and maintain their free website. Brightside’s Green Tie Bash Brightside’s 3rd Annual Green Tie Bash is sponsored by AT&T, and presented by the Young Professional Association of Louisville and Louisville Urban League Young Professionals.
This event attracts hundreds of Louisville’s young professionals. Mark your calendars for Friday, March 6th, 2009 to dance the night away at The Olmsted. Co-emcees are Angie Fenton and Aaron Miller and music by DJ Reggie Regg.
