Proposed Title V Construction Permit for Momentive Specialty Chemicals

Notice of Action on a Title V Construction Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a Title V construction permit to allow the installation of a carbon adsorption control device on two storage tanks for Momentive Specialty Chemicals (chemical manufacturing plant), 6200 Camp Ground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.03.  The 30-day public comment period starts November 12, 2010, and ends on December 8, 2010. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling Eva Addison at (502) 574-6005. Written comments will be accepted by Eva Addison, Permitting Engineering Supervisor, at the District office until 5:00 p.m. December 14, 2010.
