Notice of Public Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on March 16, 2011, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with Swift & Company. Swift & Company is alleged to have violated District Regulations 5.15 (Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions) and 1.13 (Control of Objectionable Odors) at its facility located at 1200 Story Avenue in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. March 15, 2011. Written comments will be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the e-mail address airorders @ louisvilleky.gov. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on March 16, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville.
