Ryan Irvine Promoted to Deputy Director for Public Health and Wellness

Dr. Adewale Troutman, Director of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, recently promoted Ryan Irvine to the position of Deputy Director.
As Deputy Director, Irvine will be responsible for department-wide executive administration and management of specialized health programs, which includes the oversight of three divisions: Women’s Health and Mobile Unit Services, Community Health Education and Promotion, and Personal and Population Health Services. Irvine previously served as Community Health Services Manager and has been a public servant with the department for 15 years.
Irvine, a Spencer County native, has a B.S. in Allied Health and Dental Hygiene from University of Louisville and is licensed by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene. He also currently serves as a Lieutenant in the Kentucky Army National Guard and has received various specialized trainings in Emergency Medical Care and Officers’ Leadership Training during his 20-year military tenure.
Irvine, his wife, Carolyn, and their 7 year old son, Miykel, currently reside in Shelby County.
