Matt Rhodes Promoted to Deputy Director for Public Health and Wellnes

Dr. Adewale Troutman, director of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, recently promoted Matt Rhodes to the position of Deputy Director.
Rhodes will be responsible for oversight of the Department’s prevention services, environmental and regulatory services, laboratory services, and the Office of Emergency Preparedness.
Rhodes previously served as Administrator for the Department’s Environmental Health Division. He has been a public servant with the department for over 12 years and has served as an Environmental Health Specialist and in multiple supervisory roles.
Rhodes, a Georgia native, has a B.S. in Public Health from Cumberland College located in Williamsburg, KY. Matt obtained his Registered Sanitarian certification from the Commonwealth of KY in 1997. He is currently pursuing his MPH from Eastern Kentucky University.
