Proposed Renewal of Title V Operating Permit and Revision of Construction Permit for Sam Meyers

Notice of Action on Title V Operating/Construction Permits

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to renew a Title V operating permit and revise a construction permit for Sam Meyers (dry cleaner plant), 3400 Bashford Avenue Court, in accordance with Regulations 2.16 and 2.03.
The revised construction permit is to remove requirements that were not requrired by Federal New Source Performance Standards for petroleum dry cleaning machines.  The 30-day public comment period starts November 6, 2011, and ends on December 6, 2011. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Drafts of the permits are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling Paul Aud at (502) 574-6000 or emailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov.  Copies of the application are available upon request.  Written comments will be accepted at the District office until midnight on December 6, 2011.
