Notice of Action on a FEDOOP with STAR Environmental Acceptability Demonstration
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a federally enforceable District origin operating permit (FEDOOP) with STAR Environmental Acceptability Demonstration to Sud-Chemie, Inc., South Plant (catalyst manufacturer), 4900 Crittenden Drive, in accordance with Regulation 2.17. The 30 day public comment period starts September 21, 2012 and ends on October 22, 2012. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling Paul Aud at (502) 574-6000 or emailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov. Copies of the application are available upon request. Written comments will be accepted at the District office until midnight on October 22, 2012.
