Proposed STAR Permits for 9 More Companies

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) opens a public comment period on December 1, 2008, to issue STAR permits and on its determination of approvability of the environmental acceptability demonstrations, in accordance with Regulation 5.21 Environmental Acceptability for Toxic Air Contaminants, for the following companies: LG&E Mill Creek, LG&E Cane Run, Brown-Forman Early Times, Ford Motor Co LAP, Ford Motor Co. KTP, Outer Loop Recycling, Oxy Vinyls, Carbide Industries, and United Parcel Services.

Drafts of the permits and related documents are available for review at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Information may be obtained from Eva Addison at (502) 574-6005. Written comments will be accepted by Eva Addison, Permitting Engineering Supervisor, at the District office until 5:00 p.m. December 31, 2008.
