MORE : May 7-12 is “Drinking Water Week” across the United States, a time to highlight the importance of a safe, high-quality supply of drinking water. On Friday, bring your lunch and we’ll provide the water! Louisville Water will provide reusable bottles and compostable cups to serve Louisville pure tap® on Friday, May 11. Fill up and then enjoy your lunch in the Louisville Water Plaza.

Louisville is known for its great-tasting water, Louisville pure tap®, and its history of innovation in water science. Louisville pure tap® is available at every faucet and fountain in the city. It’s a great value – you can fill 66 cups for less than a penny.

The company’s engineers have devised a way to deliver an ongoing supply of chilled water with “Louisville pure tap® TO GO.” The units pull the water directly from the water main; then, the water is chilled through a cooler and delivered with the pull of a handle. The units are a “green solution” to enjoying water and have been a popular attraction at Waterfront Park events and during the Kentucky Derby Festival.
