Notice of Action on Title V Construction Permits

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) opens a public comment period on March 9, 2011, to issue three construction permits to modify the KV1 dryer by changing the control scheme and product mix, in accordance with Regulation 2.03 for Rohm and Haas — Louisville Plant (a subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company), 4300 Camp Ground Rd.  The 30-day public comment period starts March 9, 2011, and ends on April 7, 2011. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling (502) 574-6000 or emailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov. Written comments will be accepted at the District office until 5:00 p.m. April 7, 2011.
