Public Health & Wellness Department to Offer Free Wellness Trainings

LOUISVILLE, KY – (March 15, 2007) The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness will offer two seminars on Thursday March 29th in the Louisville Free Public Library located in the Mid-City Mall.
The afternoon seminar from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. will show people how to start a Worksite Wellness Program. The evening seminar from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will show people how to establish a Weight Support Group.
Both seminars will be held in the Highland/Shelby Park branch of the Louisville Free Public Library located in the Mid-City Mall at 1250 Bardstown Road.
The seminars are led by a registered dietitian with the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness. The dietician is also certified by the American Dietetic Association in Adult Weight Management. The seminars are free, but space is limited.
