Proposed Agreed Board Order with Rohm & Haas Company

Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board opened a public comment period on April 8, 2009, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with Rohm and Haas Company. Rohm and Haas Company is alleged to have violated District Regulations 1.07 (Excess Emissions) and 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits) at the facility located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Written comments from the public were accepted by the Board, Joe Schweinhart, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. April 14, 2009. Written comments were also accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airorders @ louisvilleky.gov”.  Oral comments were accepted at the public hearing on April 15, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
