Proposed Title V Construction Permit 33415-11-C for Lubrizol

Notice of Action on a Title V Construction Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to  issue a construction permit to Lubrizol Advanced Materials Inc. (chemical manufacturing plant), 4200 Bells Lane, in accordance with Regulation 2.16.  The source has made equipment configuration changes to separate pellet and powder compound production lines.  The 30-day public comment period starts October 19, 2011, and ends on November 18, 2011. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling (502) 574-6000 or emailing airpermits @ louisvilleky.gov.  Written comments will be accepted at the District office until 5 p.m. November 18, 2011.
