Proposed Agreed Board Order with Eckart America Corporation

Notice of Public Hearing

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on October 19, 2011, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with Eckart America Corporation. Eckart is alleged to have violated District Regulation 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits) and 2.03 (Permit Requirements - Non-Title V Construction and Operating Permits and Demolition/Renovation Permits) at its facility located at 4101 Camp Ground Road in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. October 18, 2011. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airorders @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on October 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
