Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on April 21, 2010, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with American Synthetic Rubber Company. ASRC is alleged to have violated District Regulations 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits); 1.09 (Prohibition of Air Pollution); and 1.13 (Control of Objectionable Odors) at the facility located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. April 20, 2010. Written comments will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airorders @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on April 21, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
