Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on January 19, 2011, on a proposed Agreed Board Order with the University of Louisville. The University is alleged to have violated District Regulation 5.04 (Adoption of Federal Emission Standard for Asbestos) at the Belknap Campus located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Rachael Hamilton, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m., January 18, 2011. Written comments will be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the e-mail address airorders @ louisvilleky.gov. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on January 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville.
