Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board opens a public comment period September 11, 2008, on proposed amendments to District Regulations 2.08 Emissions Fees, Permit Fees, Permit Renewal Procedures, and Additional Program Fees, Version #22, Draft #1 – Proposed, August 22, 2008, and 6.40 Standards of Performance for Gasoline Transfer to Motor Vehicles (Stage II Vapor Recovery and Control), Version #3, Draft #1 - Proposed, September 2, 2008.
Written statements will be accepted by the Board, Jonathan L. Trout, Secretary-Treasurer, Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. October 10, 2008. Written statements will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address “airregs @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral statements will be accepted at the public hearing on February 20, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville.
A paper copy of the proposed regulations may be obtained from Monica Little, (502) 574-7246, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. An electronic copy of the proposed regulations may be downloaded from the District’s website at “www.louisvilleky.gov/APCD/Docket.htm”.
