Proposed Agreed Board Order with BAE Systems

Notice of Public Hearing
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing on January 20, 2010 on a proposed Agreed Board Order with U.S. Combat Systems, a division of BAE Systems Land and Armaments, L.P. BAE is alleged to have violated District Regulations 2.03 (Permit Requirements – Non Title V Construction and Operating Permits), 2.16 (Title V Operating Permits) and 5.02 (National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants), at the facility located in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
Written comments from the public will be accepted by the Board, Joe Schweinhart, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m., January 19, 2010. Written comments will be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the e-mail address “airorders @ louisvilleky.gov”. Oral comments will be accepted at the public hearing on January 20, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville.
