Health Department to Hold “Concerned Persons” Classes on Drug and Alcohol Addiction

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – (January 17, 2007) The Louisville Metro Health Department will hold a series of eight classes aimed at giving the friends and family members of those addicted to drugs or alcohol a better understanding of the issues surrounding addiction.
Classes are free but advance registration is requested due to space limitations. For more information or to register phone 574-6414.
Classes will be held at the Bridges of Hope Neighborhood Place located at 1411 Algonquin Parkway. Classes will be held on Mondays at 1:30 PM on January 29th, February 5th, February 12th, February 19th, February 26th, March 5th, and March 12th.
Classes will cover such issues drug addiction, alcohol addiction, communication, setting boundaries, guilt and family rules.
