Notice of Action on a Title V Operating Permit

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) opens a public comment period on June 11, 2010, to issue a Plant-wide Applicability Limit (PAL) construction permit, in accordance with Regulations 2.04/2.05 for Ford Motor Company-Louisville Assembly Plant, 2000 Fern Valley Road. The 30-day public comment period starts June 11, 2010 and ends on July 11, 2010. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.

Drafts of the permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling Matt King at (502) 574-6714. Written comments will be accepted by Matt King, Permitting Engineering Supervisor, at the District office until 5:00 p.m. July 11, 2010.
