Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake will provide a night of free entertainment at the Iroquois Amphitheater when “Shrek III” plays the big screen on Saturday night, August 16th.

“Once again, any family is invited to come out and have a fun night for free,” says Councilwoman Marianne Butler (D-15). “What better way to spend a summer night than at Iroquois Park.”

Butler along with Council members Dan Johnson (D-21), Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13), Rick Blackwell (D-12) and Mary C. Woolridge (D-3) provided the funding for this year’s “Movies under the Stars” program.

“We have been very pleased with the public’s response to these films,” says Butler. “Many people are also getting the chance to see the changes and improvements that have been made to the park.”

The movie is free and the show begins at 8:00pm. The Amphitheater is located at 1080 Amphitheater Road, off New Cut Road.

For more information about “Movies under the Stars” call Councilwoman Butler’s Office at 574-1115.
