Louisville, KY - Louisville Metro Councilman Jerry T. Miller (District 19) will take part in the National Bike to Work Day on May 18, 2012. Miller plans to depart the Eastwood Firehouse (16010 Shelbyville Road) at 9:00 a.m. and head downtown to Fourth Street Live! where he and other cycling enthusiasts plan to converge to help bring attention to Bike Louisville and the need for pedestrian friendly streets.
“Whether you’re seven or seventy, you are never too old to take up cycling. It is a healthy form of exercise that is easy on your joints, as well as an effective means of transportation. I encourage others to get their bikes out and join the hundreds of people who plan to participate in Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 18.”  - Councilman Jerry T. Miller
