Final Vision Louisville Town Hall at NIA Center

Tuesday August 6, 2013

45,000 ideas in 45 days for Vision Louisville project

Mayor Greg Fischer invites citizens to attend the eighth and final Vision Louisville Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, August 6 and to bring their big ideas about the future of the city.

The meeting is 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the NIA Center, 2900 West Broadway.

This town hall is the last of eight that have been staged throughout Louisville in July and August.

The Vision Louisville project is on a mission to gather 45,000 ideas in 45 days about how citizens think the city should look, feel and flow in the next 25 years. Ideas people have regarding future improvements in green initiatives, healthy lifestyle promotion, neighborhoods, economic growth, transit, the arts, or anything that will better the overall identity of Louisville are welcome.

No idea is too big or too small — or too wild and wacky — and no one is too young or too old to participate in the effort.

Anyone unable to attend can connect online at visionlouisville.com or submit ideas through social media:

· Twitter: @visionlville (use the hashtag #visionlou)

· Facebook: VisionLouisville

· Ideas are also welcome via text message to (502) 603-6060
