A variety of services will be available, including stroke screening, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening and peripheral arterial disease screening, for $40 each or all three for $119, and osteoporosis screening for $40. All four tests can be performed for $129, and can be scheduled by calling Life Line Screening at 894-9228.

And the health fair will feature breast cancer screenings for women 40 years and over. (Mammograms are free to income eligible women without insurance. For those with insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, the appropriate agency will be billed.) To schedule a mammogram, residents may call Leah at 574-3472. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments will be honored first.
In addition, SPOT, Metro Louisville's mobile veterinary and adoption unit, will be on hand, offering information on pet licensing and services and featuring animals for adoption. Representatives for Louisville Metro Police and Louisville Dire Department will also be available to answer questions.
Refreshments will be available, with free coffee provided by Heine Brothers Coffee.
