Louisville – In keeping with a tradition he began in 2003, Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) will host his first District 12 Dialogue of the year on January 16th at 7:00pm.
“I have found District Dialogues to be a good way to gauge public opinion on just about any issue,”” says Blackwell. “It is also a chance to learn about new programs or ask questions about the operations of Metro Government.
The January District 12 Dialogue will be held at Kerrick Elementary on 2210 Upper Hunters Trace.
The featured speaker of the night will be Dr. Neal Richmond, Director of Metro Louisville EMS.
“EMS is one of those many agencies where public safety and service is a top priority,” says Blackwell. “Dr. Richmond has made many innovative changes and this will be a chance for the public to learn more about his goals and objectives”.
Representatives of Metro Police and IPL will be on hand along with other government agencies to answer any other questions or concerns.
