Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch (D-13) will welcome Mayor Jerry Abramson and all of Metro Government to Fairdale High School when the Mayor’s Community Conversation returns on Monday, April 19th.

“It is always a pleasure to have the officials who keep our Metro Government running on hand to help residents and citizens with problems and concerns,” says Welch. “I and other Council members will be on hand to talk with anyone who comes by.”

This Community Conversation will be special because Metro Public Works will display a drawing of the proposed Roundabout for the Fairdale Village Plan. Welch will be on hand to talk about a proposed timetable for the project.

“There have been many questions asked about the Roundabout and this is a chance to learn more about a proposed solution to a major concern in the area,” says Welch. “Get the information first hand about how Metro Government plans to solve this traffic problem for the Fairdale area.”

The event will get underway beginning at 6:30pm in the gymnasium of Fairdale High School, 1001 Fairdale Road.

For more information about the April Mayor’s Community Conversation you can call Metro Call at 311 or call 574-5000.
