Golfers being offered $3 discount during March

Golfers are being offered a $3 discount during the month of March at Metro Parks courses.

Golfers can register for a coupon, redeemable at any of Metro Parks’ nine public golf courses, at The coupon can be applied to greens and carts fees for an 18-hole round on weekdays between the hours of noon and 4 p.m.

“During a recession, even golfers are looking for a way to save,” said Assistant Director Marty Storch, who oversees operations at the Metro Parks golf courses. “We’re offering this discount on top of the already low rates our golfers pay, and hoping they’ll take advantage of it.”

Golfers will be able to redeem the coupons through Tuesday, March 31. Metro Parks is also in the process of developing other discount specials throughout the rest of the year. More information on those discounts, in addition to regular rates and fees, will be found in upcoming weeks at
