It’s that time of year for Ninth District residents to head out to the ballpark for a free night of baseball with Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh.
“This is somewhat of a tradition for me and other members of the Metro Council and I hope those who can will come out and join us for a night of fun,” says Ward-Pugh. “These tickets, though, are on a first-come first-serve basis.”
Ninth District BATS Night out is set for Wednesday, June 29th at Slugger Field. The tickets will be available until they run out and are good for free admission, a free hot dog and a free Soft drink.
“This is such a fun time and if you love baseball and have not been to Slugger Field in awhile, let Metro Government treat you to a FREE night at the park,” says Ward-Pugh. “It is a great way to spend an evening on a summer night.”
To reserve tickets contact Councilwoman Ward-Pugh’s office at 574-1109. Ninth District groups are encouraged to attend! Reserved tickets will be available for pickup at the rear entrance of Slugger Field (corner of Preston/River Road and E Witherspoon) on Wednesday, June 29th at 6:00 pm.
