Louisville – Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton invites interested residents to the next District 5 Neighborhood Advisory Committee regular monthly meeting to learn more about the “No More Red Dots” Pilot Program from Dr. Eddie Woods and other activities in the district.

“Councilman James and I recently announced this new pilot program with the Life Institute and the Peace Education Center and we need residents to understand its purpose in dealing with violence intervention and how they can get involved,” says Hamilton.

There will also be updates on summer public safety plans from Major Bill Kristofeck of LMPD, plans for the West Louisville Food Summit and other summer activities

The Advisory Committee will meet at the Yearlings Club, 4309 West Broadway, beginning at 7:00pm on Monday, June 18th

“I want to encourage everyone to come out and get involved. We need the public’s help in making this a safe summer and a better community in which to live, work and play,” says Hamilton.
