Council Johnson wants to hear from residents in District 21 at Town Hall meeting

Louisville – On Tuesday, September 12, 2006 residents of District 21 will get a chance to find out what is going on in their area with respect to crime or other important concerns in Metro Louisville.

“I want to invite everyone to come out and talk with me and others in government,” says Council Dan Johnson (D) 21. “I also want to hear what might be on their minds and find out if there is any particular area of the district we need to pay attention to.”

Johnson will host a Town Hall meeting from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the Beechmont Community Center, 205 W. Wellington Avenue on September 12th..

Representatives of the Third and Fourth Divisions of Louisville Metro Police will be on hand to talk about the latest effort in fighting crime as well as answer questions or concerns.

“This is will also be a chance for anyone to tell me what they think about any issue facing Metro Louisville,” says Johnson. “Other departments will be at the meeting to help anyone with a problem.”
