Louisville – Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3 will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, November 17th at 10:00am.

The ceremony will formally dedicate new bus shelters and sidewalks near the Dr. William Weathers Senior Building in the Park DuValle Neighborhood.

In February, residents of the area voiced concern about public safety in using the bus stop.

Working with TARC and Metro Public Works, Woolridge was able to complete changes to the bus stop with two new shelters and sidewalks were added.

The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Wilson and William Weathers Avenue.
