Councilman Tom Owen (D) 8 and the Highland Commerce Guild are partnering an effort to help local businesses. On Monday, August 18th a special seminar will get underway to help the businesses with marketing skills to expand sales.
“In this economy, our locally owned businesses need to be helped as much as possible,” says Owen. “This seminar may give them some ideas on how to bring in new business.”
Joe Bonura, author and professional motivator, will present a seminar on “Marketing Ideas to Super Charge Your Business” at Bellarmine University at 5:30pm in the Cralle Theater in Wyatt Hall.
Bonura is known as a “real world” speaker who gives his audience ideas they can apply immediately to increase sales and improve service. He gives high energy, interactive presentations that are full of concrete success strategies and stories from his life experience.
“If we can help any business continue to grow, then this seminar will be a success,” says Owen.
The seminar is designed for those who want to move their business to the next level, in order to combat the current economic challenges. There will be a networking opportunity starting at 5 p.m., with refreshments provided by Bearno’s Pizza. Just $10 for the evening! To attend the seminar, RSVP by August 14th to MarkAAbrams@gmail.com or call (502)594-7372.
For more information about the seminar, contact Nick Morris at 587-8273.
