Louisville – Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D-3) is inviting the community to the second concert in the Summer Concert Series in Algonquin Park this Saturday, July 21st.
“We have had a wonderful response to our first concert in June and I want to encourage everyone to come out and enjoy themselves in one of the finest parks in Metro Louisville,” says Woolridge,
Headlining the July Concert in Algonquin Park will be Malcolm Gore and the Mack G Band. The concert will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Majic 101.3 will broadcast live from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The station will give away prizes before each concert.
The Summer Concert Series will conclude in August with a Grand Finale Concert featuring the Unlimited Band on August 18th.
“These concerts are free and open to everyone. Bring a lawn chair, a cold beverage and beat the heat while listening to great old-school music. I am happy to make these concerts available to the people of Metro Louisville,” says Woolridge.
Algonquin Park is located at 1614 Cypress Street.
