For Immediate release:
Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge is sending out an invitation for residents of District 3 to come out and talk about what might be on their minds.
“Town Hall meetings are a good way to let me know if we are taking care of problems or need to focus some attention elsewhere,” says Woolridge. “I want to hear from the people I represent.”
The District 3 Town Hall meeting will be held on Monday, June 4th beginning at 6:00pm at the Hill Street Baptist Church Family Life Center. The Center is located at 2203 Dixie Highway.
“My office is always taking care of any concern in the district,” says Woolridge. “But sometimes people like to talk to a council person face to face. That’s what I plan to do, so let’s talk.”
Representatives of Metro Government will also be on hand to answer questions or address concerns. Louisville Metro Police; Inspections Permits & Licenses; Public Works; Solid Waste Management; the Louisville Free Public Library; MSD; the Department of Neighborhoods and Metro Parks will all be on hand for the Town Hall meeting.
“I encourage everyone to come out and if you do not have a concern, maybe we can explain how government works to serve all of us in Metro Louisville,” says Woolridge
