Fairdale High School will play host to the Mayor’s Community Conversation on Monday night, April 21st. The event will get underway at 6:30pm at Fairdale High School, 1001 Fairdale Road.

“I look forward to having Mayor Abramson and Metro Government in my district,” says Councilwoman Vicki Aubrey Welch (D) 13. “I want to encourage everyone to stop by and talk with the Mayor, myself and members of the Metro Council.”

On the third Monday of each month, the Mayor and representatives of each department of government travel to different districts of the area and make themselves available to residents. It is a chance to tell the Metro government about a concern or discuss a problem.

Council President Jim King, (D) 10 and Council Members Rick Blackwell (D) 12 and Bob Henderson (D) 14 will be joining Welch at the event

“This is a chance to let us know the concerns of our constituents,” says Welch. “It is hard to solve a problem if we do not know what the problem is, so here is a chance to make us aware of something we need to know about.”
