For Immediate release:
Louisville Metro Council
Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh is issuing an invitation to residents and businesses of the Ninth District to get an update on several projects at part of her first Community Forum of the New Year.
“I can think of no better way to begin 2012 by letting our folks know where we are when it comes to crime and other changes that are ahead in the district,” says Ward-Pugh. “This is a chance to get updated and learn along with other neighbors just where we are in moving forward with key projects.”
The Ninth District Community Forum will get underway at the Kentucky School for the Blind Auditorium, 867 Frankfort Avenue on Wednesday, January 25th beginning at 6:00pm.
There will be presentations from Louisville Metro Police updating us on crime stats and safety tips. There will also be updates by Metro Parks on Breslin Park and an update on the latest with the Brownsboro Road Reconfiguration.
The presentations will begin at 6:00pm and then beginning at 7:00pm will be a question and answer session.
“This is also a chance to meet with me and my staff and let us know if there is a concern in the District that needs to be addressed,” says Ward-Pugh. “It’s always good to hear from residents who are interested in getting involved in their community by participating in discussions about projects in the District.”
