Free Diabetes “Power of Prevention” Class Being Offered by Public Health & Wellness

LOUISVILLE, KY – (February 16, 2007) Individuals interested in learning about the risk factors for developing Type 2 diabetes and how to prevent it are invited to attend a one hour “Power of Prevention” training session being offered by the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness on Wednesday, February 28, Neighborhood Place Northwest, 4018 W. Market Street.
The class is free and begins 12:00 noon and ends at 1:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch with them. Please call 574-6663 for reservations or for more information. Class size is limited so reservations are encouraged.
