Department of Public Health and Wellness to Hold Classes on Drug and Alcohol Addiction

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – (April 2, 2007) The Louisville Metro Health Department will hold a series of eight classes aimed at giving the friends and family members of those addicted to drugs or alcohol a better understanding of the issues surrounding addiction.
Classes are free but advance registration is requested due to space limitations. For more information or to register phone 574-6414.
Classes will be held at Neighborhood Place East in the Urban Government Center located at 810 Barret Avenue. Classes will be held on Mondays from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on April 9th, April 16th, April 23rd, April 30th, May 7th, May 14th, May 21st, and June 4th.
Classes will cover such issues drug addiction, alcohol addiction, communication, setting boundaries, guilt and family rules.
