Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge announces a Town hall Meeting for residents of District 3 to come out and talk about their issues and concerns.
“When I was first elected to the Metro Council, I made a commitment to always stay in touch with the people who sent me to City Hall,” says Woolridge. “We have handled many concerns for folks in the District but I want to make sure there is always an easy way to stay in touch.”
The District 3 Town Hall Meeting will get underway at the Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church, 2203 Dixie Highway beginning at 6:00pm. The Town Hall will include representatives from Inspections, Permits and Licenses, Metro Public Works, the Louisville Metro Police Department, Neighborhood Watch, MSD and the Mayor’s Office.
Parallel Products a District 3 business located at 1620 Bernheim Ln will tell who they are and where they want to go as an organization.
Information about flu shots and H1N1 will be presented by the Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness. Citizens can learn how to form a Neighborhood Watch and gather information about upcoming events offered by Norton Health Care for the area.
“This is a chance to make me aware of any concerns that have not been resolved,” said Woolridge. “If you do not have a problem, then come by and say hello. There are many things going on in Metro Government you may not be aware of, so come join us.”
