What should be done in the next five, ten or twenty years to develop the Shawnee Neighborhood into one of Metro Louisville’s most desirable neighborhoods?
Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton (D-5) is offering residents of the area a chance to share their thoughts and ideas on the subject at a special meeting on Thursday, September 29th.
“There has been much progress in the Shawnee area in the last few years,” says Hamilton. “The people who live in this area best know how this community should grow for the future.”
The meeting to discuss the Shawnee Neighborhood Plan will be held at the Shawnee Golf Course Clubhouse, 460 Northwestern Parkway from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. It is a chance to learn more about the plan and at the same time offer ideas and suggestions for improvements.
“Homeowners and business people who live and work in the area will have the chance to talk with the people who are in the process of improving the Shawnee Neighborhood,” says Hamilton. “It is important to hear your input.”
