Councilwoman Ward-Pugh to host senior health fair

Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh will hold a 9th District Senior Health Fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 at the Olmsted, 3701 Frankfort Avenue on the Masonic Home Campus.

A variety of health screenings and services will be available, including:

Flu Shots ($15, or free with Medicare Part B, Medicaid or Passport);

Mammograms for women 40 years and over. (Free to income eligible women without insurance. For those with insurance, Medicare or Medicaid, that agency will be billed.)

Stroke screenings (Provided by Life Line Screening. For more information, including fees and appointments, call 894-0228.)

The Senior Health Fair is being offered in partnership with Life Line Screening and Partnership in Cancer Control.
