Councilwoman Woolridge to welcome Mayor to Butler High School on Sept. 17

Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3 will be on hand when Mayor Jerry Abramson opens the door to Metro Government for anyone who has a problem or concern during his September Community Conversations.

“I want to welcome the Mayor and Metro Government to Butler High School,” says Woolridge. “I am looking forward to talking with the community and hearing their concerns on how we can make Louisville a better place.”

The Mayor’s Community Conversations will get underway at 6:30pm on Monday, September 17th in the small gym of Butler High School. The School is located at 2222 Crums Lane off Dixie Highway.

Joining Woolridge will be Metro Council President Rick Blackwell (D) 12 and Council Members Judith Green (D) 1 Marianne Butler (D) 15.

“This event is a great way for the public to express their thoughts about the job local government is doing,” says Woolridge. “It is also a chance to for people to talk with their elected officials one on one.”

The Mayor’s Community Conversations is held on the third month of each month. For more information about the September event at Butler High School call Metro Call at 311 or 574-5000.
