Residents of Metro Louisville will have a chance to voice any concerns or suggestions they have for the redrawing of the Metro Council’s 26 districts during the next meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting.
“The Committee is now reviewing the best way to redraw boundaries and we want to hear from anyone who may have thoughts on this process,” says Councilman Rick Blackwell (D-12) who chairs the Committee.
The public will be able to speak to the Committee during its meeting on Monday, July 11th at 4:00pm. Each person will have five minutes to speak to the committee and be available for questions if needed. Signups will be on a first come first serve basis on the day of the meeting.
“Even if someone cannot make it to this meeting, the Committee welcomes written comments from the public,” says Blackwell.
Those comments can be either emailed to Kathy Herron, the Metro Council Clerk at Kathy.email@example.com or can be mailed to the Metro Council Clerk, City Hall, 1st Floor, 601 W. Jefferson Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
