City Offers Free Storm Debris Drop-Off

Metro Solid Waste is offering Louisville residents a chance to drop off storm debris from the recent windstorm for free (residents only) at the Waste Reduction Center at 636 Meriwether Avenue (map it).
The deadline for this free service has been extended through Saturday, February 9, 2008 and includes such items as tree limbs, shingles, siding and other storm debris.
The Waste Reduction Center is open Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
